This is a powerful image of a mother-goddess figure cradling a child in her womb, wishing for a great life and journey for the newborn. The ripple effect in the background signifies the mother’s influence, creating force for the child. The vision was encountered in a heroic dose mushroom ceremony that took place in Oakland, CA, on November 23 rd 2019.
The painting was completed 5 years later, based on memory and a sketch made the night of the ceremony.

From his expressions, it is hard to tell if it’s in a position of joy and pleasure or pain and confusion. The bright light blue above his head is in a relationship with the female figure’s influence.
